Worship at St Gabriel's
Worship is at the heart of St Gabriel's. We like to spend a lot of time praising God together in song. Our worship ministry reflects the values of the church.
Deeper with God
Our worship is an opportunity to encounter God's presence, as he reveals more of who he is through his Holy Spirit. We strive to make sure our worship has good theology and speaks of our awesome trinitarian God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Our services are planned in such a way as to spend time seeking God in songs of worship. We also use our songs as a way of responding to God after the sermon and in prayer ministry.

Sunday Services
Our worship is band-led with a variety of different bands working on a rota basis. Our music is in a contemporary style.

We also have worship at prayer events, the Alpha Course and at various other events throughout the week.
Children and Youth Worship
In our Sunday morning services, we spend some time worshiping all together before the children go to their groups. Once a month we have a 10:30am All Age Worship service, which gives the church an opportunity to all be together. We try to reflect our values for worship in all our groups, so that people of all ages spend time worshiping God within their groups.
Closer to one another
Our worship is led by a committed team of about 30 singers, musicians and sound and visual technicians who work on a rota basis and is overseen by the Worship Minister.

For those people who like to sing, but don't feel called to commit to the team, we invite anyone who would like to to sing in our Christmas choir.

Further in mission
We pray that during our times of worship, God may empower and equip the congregation to go further in mission. We like to encourage people to use the gifts God has given them to serve the church and the community. As part of our vision to go further in mission, we like to encourage our song writers to write down what God is doing as a way of reaching out to people.
